17th October, 2005 The Tender Organizer for the supply of cotton wool and cotton waste No 15 and 16 (comber cotton waste) has received the following questions.
1. What documents should the bidder submit to confirm availability of manufacturing facilities and delivery capacity of volumes needed by the customer within the specified period if the bidder company is not a direct manufacturer of cotton wool and comber cotton waste but it is a trader?
2. The bidders were offered to introduce alterations into the tender documents in terms of the Supplier responsibility for delay in delivery of goods and also into the table of discount off the price (cotton wool basic quality level). According to paragraph 2.2.3 of the tender documents we inform of the following.
1. In case the bidder company is not a direct manufacturer of cotton wool and comber cotton waste it should submit a letter confirming goods delivery capability in volumes needed by the customer within the specified period (up to 400 tn comber cotton waste per month and up to 500 tn cotton wool per month) with the enclosure of reference lists pointing to the fact that the company has already delivered goods in the specified volumes.
2. The contents of the tender documents are not subject to discussion and change in accordance with the desires of the bidders. The bidders can only receive explanations of the document texts.
