Association Goznak of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation holds an open tender No GZ 5/2005 (hereinafter referred to as “Tender”) for the supply of 1200 million coin blanks in 2006 for the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Moscow Mint” and St. Petersburg Mint of Goznak. The tender invites organizations with the working experience in this area.

To get tender documents the Supplier should forward a letter of inquiry to the Organizer to the address indicated in the invitation with the request of a set of tender documents. In addition, a potential bidder should submit documents confirming him to be a manufacturer of coin blanks for circulating coins of the central banks (of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation or other countries), namely: a brief description (requisites, the name of the equipment used, its capacity etc.); a reference list; the letters of consumers (Mints). After submission of these documents the Supplier receives confidentiality agreement from the Organizer (2 copies). The deadline for submission of the above documents to the Organizer and receipt of confidentiality agreement is the 3rd November, 2005. The Organizer of the tender is studying and checking the above documents within a week after the Supplier submitted them. After a week with no comments of the Tender Organizer the Supplier can receive a basic set of the tender documents. These tender documents can be received subject to confidentiality agreement submitted and signed by the Supplier. The complete set of documents for tendering is available till the 16th November, 2005, in Association Goznak at the address: 17 Mytnaya, Moscow, 115162, tel.: 363 23 75, fax: 954 84 22. The bids shall be delivered by the authorized supplier’s representative – the bidder to Association Goznak at the above address till the 18th November, 2005, 9:30 Moscow time. The bids delivered with the delay are not considered. The envelopes with the bids will be opened on the 18th November, 2005, at 10:00 Moscow time in the suppliers’ representatives – the bidders presence at the address: 17 Mytnaya, Moscow, 115162. The working hours of Association Goznak: daily from 9:00 till 18:00, on Friday: from 9:00 till 16:45, the break is from 12:30 till 13:15.
