| Change and commemorative coins |
We can mint coins weighing from 1,5 grams up to 3 kilograms of non-ferrous and precious metals alloys. Now Goznak produces seven kinds of change coins for the Russian money market. The contract for rupees production under the order of the Government of India, which was prolonged and performed by us in 2001 and the first half of 2002, is just another proof of our capability to produce large amounts of high quality coins at competitive prices.
For numismatists and those who like souvenirs we produce sets of commemorative collectible coins of the world level made of silver, gold, platinum and palladium. The range of products includes samples of ordinary change coins minted for various memorable dates, dedicated to important literary and scientific achievements, sport events, like Olympic games.
Lately we have invested considerable funds into the highest-accuracy production and processing equipment in order to provide the constant good quality of products. Our technical specialists and craftsmen have many years’ experience in coin production. At every stage of the new product creation process we closely co-operate with our customers, so that the design and performance accurately reproduced the general conception of the product. Implementation of the recent security elements into the coin production allows us not only to protect our products against counterfeiting, but also to increase their attraction for end-users and collectors.
