| The ecological policy of Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Goznak” |
Goznak is a unique enterprise in the field of security printing, paper and coin and order production important for the whole country activity. Branches of Goznak are located in Moscow, Saint-Petersburg and the Perm Region.
Goznak attaches special importance to the work on effluent decreasing and waste management.
The management of Goznak are aware of their environmental responsibility and accept the following obligations:
- To adhere to the requirements of the Federal and local legislation in the environmental management and environment protection field applicable to the activity of Goznak, and other requirements, including those of the local regulatory documents of the Enterprise;
- To comply to requirements of the Russian and international standards in the ecological management field;
- To take all possible actions in order to decrease and prevent negative environmental impact taking into account the modern level of technological expansion and financial capacities of the Enterprise;
- To improve the ecological management of Goznak and enhance its effectiveness continuously.
To fulfill these obligations, Goznak intends:
- To use the natural resources and energy sensibly, to introduce waste-free and low-waste technologies, technologies of secure accumulation, storage and recovery of waste products;
- To improve production processes, to implement new equipment and advanced technologies aimed at reducing the negative environmental impact and increasing the ecological security;
- To manage the ecological aspects of the Enterprise activity effectively at all stages of the management cycle;
- To improve the level of the personnel’s knowledge and responsibility in the field of environment protection and rational nature management continuously;
- To notify suppliers and contractors of the Enterprise of the obligations of the Policy and environmental protection requirements;
- To carry out information exchange with third parties interested in the environmental activity of the Enterprise.
The management of Goznak assume responsibility for the Policy realization by means of goal and task determination, allocation of necessary organizational and financial recourses for their achievement, control and analysis of the environmental activity, functioning of the ecological management system of the Enterprise.
