The Moscow Mint of Goznak has mastered a new technology – mosaic cover on medals. Now it is possible to decorate both medals and coins with mosaic. But such products can be produced in limited editions only, because each mosaic is hand-made.

On October 25 a ceremonial presentation of the Russian silver commemorative coin issued for the occasion of the Year of Spain in Russia took place at the Exhibition Hall of Goznak.

Another issue of The Watermark Magazine is published. Goznak presented its new promotional banknotes as well as banknotes for Lebanon modified and produced at Goznak in the June issue of the magazine.

Goznak has signed a license agreement with the Olympic Committee for the right of using the “Sochi-2014” logo on badges and commemorative medals, the right of producing and distributing of which our Company won according to the results of the tender held by the Organizational Committee of “Sochi-2014”.

Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Goznak” (“Goznak”), the tender organizer, is carrying out an open tender No. 2010/3 for the supply in 2011 of binding material to the Branches of Goznak – the Moscow and Perm Printing Factories (consignees).

The “History of Currency Circulation in Russia” coin struck at the Saint-Petersburg Mint of Goznak became the winner of the Fourth International Commemorative Coin Competition “Coin Constellation-2010” in the Gold Coin of the Year category.
